Tasha Jones β known as Coach Tash β is a nationally recognized Inpatient Medical Coding Expert, Consultant, Educator, and Mentor with over 25 years of experience in the healthcare revenue cycle industry.

Coach Tash has coded and audited in Level 1 and Level 2 trauma centers, consulted in 33 out of 50 states, traveled to Manila, Philippines to train international coding teams, and served as a Region A RAC auditor for the federal government. She has worked across inpatient coding, auditing, compliance, Clinical Documentation Improvement (CDI), and education throughout her career.
Β She holds the Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) credential, is an AHIMA-approved ICD-10-CM/PCS trainer, and has held the Certified Clinical Documentation Specialist (CCDS) credential. Her career spans acute care hospital systems of every size β from community hospitals to major health systems β giving her a depth of real-world expertise that no textbook can replicate.
